Climate Hub Forum Represents Global South at COP 29 in Baku: Aiming to Lead on Climate Finance and Just Transition

Baku, Azerbaijan — Climate Hub Forum (CHF), in partnership with Pakistan’s Ministry of Climate Change, is spearheading a compelling agenda at COP 29 in Baku, advocating for the Global South’s critical needs in climate finance, sustainable development, and just transitions. Led by Chairperson Erum Khan, Co-founder Aamir Sadozai, and Forum’s Green Building Advisor Kafeel Hussain, the CHF delegation will join high-level discussions on climate finance,  regenerative tourism, and sustainable development initiatives.

CHF’s presence highlights critical priorities: supporting equitable financial mechanisms like the Baku Initiative for Climate Finance and mobilizing resources for the Loss and Damage Fund. Their agenda covers key COP 29 themes, from clean energy and biodiversity preservation to urban resilience and climate adaptation, signaling a commitment to community-centered, inclusive climate action.

Also representing Rotary Club of Karachi Environment (RCK), Khan, Sadozai, and Hussain bring Rotary’s dedication to environmental sustainability and education. RCK has recently adopted CHF’s “One Million Trees” reforestation project and “Climate Change Education” teacher training program, aiming to uplift communities with sustainable development tools. This partnership underscores a commitment to tackling climate challenges at the grassroots level, resonating with COP 29’s vision for global collaboration.

By uniting with governments, international agencies, and philanthropists, Climate Hub Forum and RCK are striving to amplify voices from the Global South, presenting actionable, scalable climate solutions that support a sustainable, equitable future.
